Adam Ardrey, who stumbled upon some of the hidden sources of Merlin's life while researching the history of a Scottish clan, offers compelling evidence that links a very real Merlin figure into the histories of other real and prominent sixth century figures. Finding Merlin uncovers new evidence and reexamines the old. The places where Merlin was born, lived, died, and was buried are identified, as are the people surrounding him -- his nemesis, the fanatic Mungo, and his friend, the hero Arthur.
In this impressively researched and accessibly written book, Merlin leaps from the pages of legend into history.

Finding Merlin: The Truth Behind the Legend
Jan 26, Gervase Bushe rated it it was amazing. I've read a lot of books on vertical development ego development, psycho-social development and a lot of books on leadership and I have not read anything that comes close to Cowie's ability to describe what it is like to be a leader operating from post-conventional stages of development. She took me places I have not been before, and opened new ways of understanding the post-conventional mind.
And she writes beautifully. Eli rated it liked it Jan 18, Dora Perim rated it it was amazing Feb 23, EL rated it liked it Jan 10, May 03, Nicole rated it it was amazing.
